My Journey Delivering Training:
My name is Philip Wadsworth. I began my career in the meat and food industry right after school, driven by a passion for butchery. Over the years, I’ve gained experience across retail, catering, and processing sectors, developing a comprehensive industry understanding.

Over time, I realised how important it was to improve industry training, as many new employees lacked the right skills, which could lead to quality problems. I joined a food industry training company and found I really enjoyed teaching, eventually co-founding Intrinsic Training Solutions. The company grew with a variety of clients, and in 2005 I bought out my partner and took leadership of the business. When Covid affected our training activities, we lost some customers, which led to the decision to close the company in September 2023.
Until recently, I worked as a self-employed Workforce Trainer.
My background in the Food Industry helps me enormously. As a result, I can advise clients on the best approach to ensure their required training has maximum impact.

I now work as a free lance trainer delivering training for different training providers as they require me.
I continue to specialise in food safety and HACCP from operational to top management level. Delivering to all sectors in the food industry
• I specialise in delivering Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Limits (HACCP) at all levels in Manufacturing and Catering.
• Additionally, I train those requiring additional help with Safer Food Better Business (SFBB).
